Green Code Lab Challenge – J-70 presentation

In 2030, electric consumption of the Internet will be the equivalent of that of everyone in the world in 2008 (source: study of the University of Dresden). It is urgent to pass to the action to make digital technology more economic in terms of energy and push economic but also environmental gains. For 3 years, the digital partners of the territory have organized the most important “Green Code” challenge at the international level. This 3rd edition of the Green Code Lab Challenge will take place at the opening of the summit, from December 2 - 4, 2015. Certified COP21, it will benefit from significant visibility in order to sensitize IT students and professionals on software eco-design. The gains are significant: 90% of the resources were won in 48 hours in the first editions. For the best team, a trip to Silicon Valley! This year, the goals are ambitious: 500 students, 50 professionals on 5 continents. Why not you? The pre-event during Digital Week will be the opportunity to present the challenge, sensitize you to eco-design, and launch you into this formidable human adventure."
